I was shocked when I heard of BSL. It stands for Breed-Specific Legislation, or simply,”if you are a restricted breed, we’re going to kill  you.” I have had several dogs growing up over the years and the news that they were banning certain popular breeds and putting them to death made me sick! They are literally taking registered pets, and family members, away from their families based simply on their breed. It has nothing to do with their tempermant, obedience, demeanor, or ANY defining character trait. This is simply ludicrous and I can’t believe it is happening. Everyone must be thinking that everyone else is doing something to prevent this.

You collect it, I have it; you should buy it from me. For the past few years, a few of my friends have made a substantial side-income from keeping their eyes open at garage sales, swap meets, conventions, etc. for limited-release promotional items, posters, pins, and other small items that may be of some value to collectors. eBay is the most common means of delivering it into to the collectors. I wanted to take it a step beyond that and offer a website for my stockpile of movie, tv show, and general entertainment collectibles. I will also be selling others’ items through the website.

Not all web transfer is created equally. Just because a web host says you have 10000gb of transfer a month. How much do you think you can actually use during a month? You’d be surprised what usually happens when more than a few people start going to your site at the same time. Maybe some of you have experienced this after posting a popular article or video and within a few minutes been unable to access any page on the site. Sometime the site won’t go down completely though, instead it will just be reduced to slow motion snail speed.

Well, I’m back. This is the first time I’ve had a blog since…. whew….. like, 03. Thats 4 years ago, unbelievable. It feels like yesterday. In that time, I’ve built my company, CG Computer Consultants into what I envisioned it would be. I have servers up in Miramar literally feet away from Cox’s main servers. I do web design and hosting for several popular local brands and companies. My life is great right now. I’m constantly meeting new interesting people and doing what I love, helping other people with my services and products.
